Poor and Sexy

Did you know the popular mayor of Berlin is openly gay? I didn't until I read this.

“Ich bin schwul und das ist auch gut so” — ”I am gay and that’s okay,” declared [Klaus] Wowereit in a televised speech.

Way better than "I am a gay American."

GCN: What is the allure for New Yorkers to visit Berlin?

KW: Berlin is exciting. Here everything changes day in and day out. I believe Berlin and New York are comparable cities. Of course not in the magnitude—and each city is different—but I believe, we have a massive dynamism and there is nothing static. Something is occurring.
