Fuck Bob Casey

If this is true, anyway.

I've learned three things from watching the Casey debate. Casey will support a nuclear strike on Iran, wants to 'fix' Social Security, and feels that civility is the problem in the debate over abortion. He also wants a higher minimum wage.

At some point the debate will be podcast here so we can all go see if that's an accurate condemnation. If it is, I'd rather Santorum win. Seriously, the greatest damage Joe Lieberman has done is not as an individual vote, but as the Democrat willing to go on Fox News and give bipartisan cover to psychotic Republican ideas. Evil as Santorum is, the last thing we need is another Lieberman as Bush prepares another suicidal war.

Now now. A Lieberman in a Democrat-controlled Senate is better than a Lieberman in a Republican-controlled Senate.

Only if you really believe the Democrats could retake the Senate this year. If not (and I don't), we can't afford another Lieberman/Bayh while Bush is preparing his new war.

Sample: "In summary, you are dumb, uncharismatic, middlingly competent at best, not politically savvy, and somewhere between homely and plain."

Left Behinds Gets Spanked Our greatest honor of 2005 was a takedown in the very popular MILBlogging.com, where the man behind the milblogs (a man who SG had called "unnecessary and annoying" in a previous post) noted graciously that LB "looks like some third-grade school project written by some Marilyn Manson-looking blogger named Solomon Grundy, a childhood friend of Cindy Sheehan, and a few other contributors." And that was just in his first paragraph. But by the end of the bashing we were not just friends, we were lovers.
