quick design/coding question

I hate the way our "categories" work (which is that they link to Blogger search results for certain tags).

Inexplicably, a majority of tagged posts never get noticed by the Blogger search tool, so weeks of posts never get included in the categories.

Any readers know a better way to include categories in Blogger blogs?

Thanks.

A couple of blogs seem to suggest a del.icio.us account. See, for example, here.

Ah. Hm, what do you think?

It would require either putting delicious tags in all the old posts or only including new posts...

I would be happy with the current method for including categories if it didn't skip whole weeks of posts.

We could start by using it in new posts and then if it seems better slowly incorporate it in old posts. I don't know how many people really use our categories anyway, so I don't know if we need to be in a great rush to retag all the old posts. But if we both work on it it shouldn't take that much time anyway.
