We're Not Oil Addicts, We're Oil Heavy-Users
By the way, what did we think of Bush's declaration in the State of the Union that "America is addicted to oil" and his pledge to replace 75% of the nation's Mideast oil imports by 2025 with ethanol and other energy sources?
It runs so counter to his lifelong fellatio of the oil industry that I am deeply skeptical, but it's too late at night for me to figure out what his real motivations are and what nefarious policy implications will ensue.
All I know is that I felt sooooo much safer after he vowed to "pass legislation to prohibit the creation of human/animal hybrids."

Oh, and the animal-human hybrid thing is another pander to his fundie wing at the expense of valid research.

Wait, how does this Haliburton shill not vet his own radical energy policy with his own staff? Or did they just not like the public reaction?
I have to say though, as I was flipping through the news tonight at dinner, every cable news channel had something about alternative energy sources. For like the first time in years, probably.

I think the relevant question for the Bushies is:
How many hearts does she have?
Either way, my answer is a simple:
She just has more to love!
